WWE: Former WWE Diva Chyna Believes Adult Film Career Could Be Key to Happiness

Posted by Kari on June 7, 2011 under FUW News | Comments are off for this article

WWE News talks about Chyna “happiness”

For some people happiness is about having a family or traveling the world. Leave it to former WWE Diva, Chyna, to have her own path to happiness.

With the news today that Chyna’s newest adult film is being released, the adult star has decided that she is taking her career full speed.

What this means is that any chance of a long term future(or any future at all) is completely out of the question. It also means that she can say goodbye to her run with TNA.

WWE ’12: 20 Things I’d Like to See in the Upcoming Video Game

According to a, Chyna is more than ok with giving up her professional wrestling career for the dim lights of an adult film set.

Chyna said: It gives me motivation again. I want to be better and happier than ever … that’s the point, right?

Far be it from anyone to call Chyna a liar when she says adult films can make her better or happier because how are we to know?

Still, it seems strange that she would give up a chance to enter back into a world where she was groundbreaking, and legendary to move into a career where she’ll certainly tarnish her reputation and likely never have the impact that she did in the squared circle.

To each her own.

Chyna Wants To Do More Adult Films, TNA Wrestling Looking To Cut Talent

Posted by Kari on June 6, 2011 under FUW News | Comments are off for this article

According to a source close to TNA, the company is looking to continue to cut several talent. The company is looking up and down the talent, looking at who does and doesn’t “fit in” within their vision of the company. A report states that the wrestlers backstage have been told to “sit tight” as necessary cuts are made in the near future.

Chyna recently spoke out to celebrity website TMZ once again, after her reps denied claims that the former WWE Diva was going to participate in yet another porn film, also to TMZ. Instead, Joanie Laurer claims that the porn flick will not be her last.”I would definitely like to do more,” she said. “It gives me motivation again. I want to be better and happier than ever… that’s the point, right?” TNA decided not to work Chyna again after she was reportedly warned that if the film was released, she wouldn’t be able to work with the company.

WWE News: Is TNA Officially Cutting Ties with Former WWE Star Chyna?

Chyna Done With TNA Wrestling Following Announcement of Her New Porn Video

It hasn’t been very long since Chyna made her shocking return to the mainstream wrestling scene with TNA, but that comeback will apparently be shortlived. is reporting that the former WWE Diva was told she would never work with the company again if she appeared in another porn film.

Well, in case you haven’t heard, Chyna is indeed making her way back to the adult entertainment industry, with her hardcore movie “Backdoor to Chyna” that is set to be released later this month.

Though TNA had plans to–or already had–offer Chyna a long-term deal, the company pulled the plug once word broke about Chyna’s return to porn.

What an absolute trainwreck.

It took years upon years for Chyna to be welcomed back to the wrestling business, and right after she was greeted by TNA with open arms, she flushed the opportunity down the toilet.

And for what? To “star” in a porno flick that guys will only watch when they’re hungover and need something to help them throw up?

Seriously, Chyna, you’ve already ostracized yourself from plenty of people in the entertainment business. And, now that you’re letting guys into your backdoor, I wouldn’t expect things to get any better.

WWE News: Jim Ross Responds to Kharma Throwing Him Under the Boss

Posted by Kari on under FUW News | Comments are off for this article

WWE News and Jim Ross Responds to Kharma Throwing Him Under the Boss

Last night on Monday Night RAW, Kharma announced that she will be taking a year long hiatus from the wrestling world because of her pregnancy.

During her final speech to the crowd last night, Kharma talked about her dream of being a WWE superstar and how former RAW announcer Jim Ross called her ’fat’.

JR said this during the filming of WWE’s Tough Enough when Kharma competed for the chance to join the WWE. Ross said she wasn’t Diva material during the show and expressed that she wasn’t what the WWE was looking for.

Must Read: WWE News: Kharma and the 23 Most Unstable Wrestling Personalities in History

JR took to his twitter to address the matter:

Kharma will never be a standard issue wwe diva. She’s a wrestler. And a keeper. JR shout outs always welcome on Raw. :)

Lots of angry folks. Ask @Kharma the story. She’s a wrestler not a typical WWE Diva. King havin fun w/ OKC Thunder. Yes, I’m fat. Duh.

Kharma My fat arse getting all kinds of evil Tweets. I’m a Kharma fan BTW. Does every female wrestler HAVE 2 be a ‘Diva?’

Thnx to those that understand the @Kharma issue. I met her 4 1st time 3 yrs ago @ CAC w/ Steve Austin we both endorsed her to WWE.

Jim Ross is not a stupid man, but he should have been able to see this one coming from a mile away. The women’s division has been dying for a legitimate powerhouse wrestler.

The idea of just pushing models as wrestlers is fine if you want to keep it a joke, but Kharma is a real wrestler. Karma, Gail Kim and Beth Phoenix are the only real wrestlers in the women’s division and there has to be a point where they put looks aside and make way for real wrestling.

Wednesday One Shots: Your weekly look at staff thoughts from the previous week …

Posted by Kari on under FUW News | Comments are off for this article

Welcome to the Wednesday One Shot. Each week, we will present a quick “one shot” thought from each staff member about the previous week in each of the following areas: WWE, TNA and Other (MMA, Indies, etc).

Will Pruett: R-Truth’s challenge to John Cena seems like too much too fast for this rising star. It is a shame that Raw seems to have lost a lot of its heels in the draft to mitigate this situation. On the plus side, Smackdown is working really hard in establishing a top four in Orton, Sheamus, Henry and Christian.

Jake Barnett: Kharma gave me a very heartfelt promo Monday on Raw that has divided the WWE audience. I’m on the side of those who think it will end up being good for her upon return. There is money in real struggle and emotion.

Mark Gessnar: While allowing for Kharma to go out and tell the fans that she was pregnant and that she would be gone for a year was a classy move, was it right for business? She has been built up as a monster during her short stint with the company and her breakdown last week and explanation this week, humanized her. Reestablishing her as being a dominant world beater will be now small task. That said, best of luck to her in her pregnancy.

Ryan Kester: Congratulations to Kia Stevens a.k.a. Kharma. I hope she has a successful pregnancy and can return to live out her second dream of being a WWE Diva. In my opinion, she went from being too fat for Tough Enough to being the top Diva in the WWE in under a month.

Chris Shore: I wasn’t a big fan of Kharma’s speech on Monday night as it played out, but looking back, WWE didn’t really have a lot to work with. They had to suddenly end her program, and that requires an explanation. So they did the best they could with a crappy hand. Whether you like it or not, you have to send congratulations to Kia Stevens on achieving her goal of motherhood.

Will Pruett: Slammiversay’s poster may feature some of TNA’s “homegrown” talent, but the company is sending the same message as always when structuring their main events. It does not matter what anyone has actually done in TNA if they have been part of a major organization in the past. If TNA continues to book this way, they will continue to lose opportunities to grow.

Jake Barnett: I keep waiting for this wrestling matters idea to take off. TNA has an opportunity to separate itself from WWE’s often talk heavy broadcasts, and has the talent to do it. Creative is the only obstacle in the way, and TNA needs new leadership in that department.

Mark Gessnar: Disco Inferno was the best they could come up with for someone from Sting’s past? If the announcers are mocking him as he made his way to the ring, why would anyone at home watching care either? But, Promos and past relationships matter in TNA.

Ryan Kester: It scares me that the top rated segment from lat week’s Impact fell upon the interactions between Bischoff, Foley, and Hogan. If history repeats itself, as is often the case with TNA, then the creative team will take this as a justification for having a talk-heavy show with non-wrestlers. That’s the last thing they need to do with their “Wrestling Matters” rebranding.

Chris Shore: I was on vacation this past week (well, a working vacation) and I ended up not watching TNA. I know I have to go back at some point and watch it for general knowledge, but I can’t express how delightful my Thursday night was because of it. It pains me to say that, it really does, but TNA is not giving us much to look forward to right now.

Other (MMA, Indies, Etc)

Will Pruett: UFC If you would have told me a year ago that Brock Lesnar would be on Ultimate Fighter and have a book coming out all at once, I would have been sure his name would be the hottest topic in the sports world. Sadly (and due to unforeseen circumstances), it seems that Brock’s star has considerably dropped. Hopefully his comeback next year will have him back to being the baddest man on the planet.

Jake Barnett: UFC UFC 130 ended up being a mediocre PPV, and was largely saved by an undercard that delivered an upset and an exciting finish. I hope the injury bug stays away from the next few cards, as a lot of big names are sidelined at the moment.

Mark Gessnar: UFC “You wanted it! YOU GOT IT!!! GSP vs DIAZ Oct 29 UFC 137 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas”- @DanaWhite. This is going to be an epic fight that I cannot wait to see. Awesome announcement and an even better fight. Nick Diaz is the last true competitor left at 170 pounds for GSP and is very well-rounded as both a striker and on the ground. Only 141 more days!!!

Ryan Kester: Indies I am woefully underexposed to indy wrestling, but it’s not like it’s that easy to find either. There are a lot of illegal ways, but not many legal ones that don’t cost a small fortune. Feel free to send any help to

Chris Shore: DGUSA Dragon Gate will host their only shows of the entire summer this weekend. I don’t know whose decision it was to not run shows in the summer, but with a fledgling iPPV company just started you would think DGUSA would be bent on selling themselves, not going into hiding. Especially with GoFightLive making mistakes with other promotions. This is not a good move for them if they want to keep recognition high.
